Ghana Christian International High School (GCIHS) is a non-profit, fully-boarding co-educational school founded in October 2000 by the Adei family, built on the conviction that Ghana needed an academically strong school rooted in Christian values. Starting with just 15 students in New Achimota, the school relocated in 2007 to its permanent 33-acre Sota Campus on the Dodowa-Afienya Road. Today, over 1,400 students are enrolled across two campuses.

The Sota Campus offers both the Cambridge International (CAIE) O-Level and A-Level programmes and the WAEC WASSCE programme, giving families a meaningful choice of academic pathway. The Junior School follows a combined Ghana JHS and Cambridge curriculum in Years 7–9, with students also sitting international music and digital literacy certificates. Beyond academics, GCIHS is well known for its strong sports programme competing under ISSAG and winning national basketball titles alongside a rich co-curricular offering that includes Robotics, Model United Nations, Drama, Entrepreneurship, and Music. In 2025, GCIHS celebrated 25 years of holistic, Christ-centred education.
GCIHS exists to educate young people in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, preparing them for university study and the workplace, providing an environment for enriched academic growth, and focusing on each student as a unique creation of God. The school motto, For God, Family and Country, reflects its prayer that graduates will emerge as transformational, spiritual servant leaders who make a difference in the kingdom of God, their families, and their country.
