The school spans crèche through to secondary education, welcoming children from as young as three months old. The preschool department is run on Montessori principles, nurturing self-confidence and independence in every child, while the primary and secondary levels follow both the British and Ghanaian curricula in the Cambridge education landscape. BHIS runs a full-year academic calendar from September to August, divided into four quarters, with extended hours from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. to support working families. The school is committed to developing well-rounded global citizens who are open-minded, academically curious, and prepared for life anywhere in the world.
